Welcome to Shadow Mountain Resort & Club and our famous series of clinics, held annually during the BNP Paribas Open in March. These clinics are the pinnacle of our season and we take pride in offering a high-intensity, fun experience! Our mission is to get you hitting as many tennis balls as possible, coupled with specific instruction.
We serve as many as 48 players daily in our unique Desert Tennis Academy Clinics held from 9a to 12p. Get a great workout in and head the matches! Our Liveball sessions, held from 7:30 to 9a daily are always the envy of the spectator. We get the music cranking and make sure you don’t rest for 90 minutes! Kinda… You’ll get twice as much tennis in 90-minutes of Liveball as you ever would in a 2-hour match!

This famous three-hour clinic consists of four 45-minute, high rep, themed rotations providing technical solutions to tactical problems in every aspect of the game. We incorporate modern, progressive instruction suited to your style and ability. This program offers a distinct pathway from the Red Ball 36-foot program all the way to the Yellow ball HP program. We start kids in a smaller safe environment where they can be successful as quickly as possible and learn the fundamentals without generating bad habits from trying to play on a court space too large for their size and strength. The pathway culminates in our High-Performance program designed to prepare junior athletes for collegiate tennis and regular tournament play.
